Voices In Harmony concert in Cricklade as guests of Sing 4/4

Town CrierOn Saturday 14 May 2016 Voices In Harmony performed in a Concert at St Sampson's Church in Cricklade, Wiltshire as guests of Sing 4/4, the local community choir.

Our hosts, Sing 4/4, were so sincerely and warmly welcoming. Our coach was greeted by the Town Crier, who then joined us to direct the coach to the venue, where a team of ‘meeters and greeters’ from Sing 4/4 welcomed us and provided welcome refreshments, on such a glorious day, before a rehearsal for the evening performance. The rehearsal was followed by a lovely buffet tea, again provided by courtesy of our hosts.

Criclade welcomeThe evening performance, to a packed St Sampson’s Church, was really well received by the audience. The two choirs each performed a wide range of music and joined together for two massed items. Helen Pysanczyn brought further variety in the form of delightful clarinet solos.

As we returned to our coach, the evening was rounded off by our hosts and the Town Crier bidding us farewell and a safe journey home.

Voices In Harmony would like to sincerely thank our hosts and everyone involved for making us so welcome and our visit so enjoyable.
